From 3rd March 2026 to July 2026, we will have a closure of the two counties river bridge at Zouch on the A6006 plus the continuing closure of the A6006 Kirk Hill Rail bridge replacement.
It is with regret we have further complications on getting to Sutton Bonington.
If you are coming from Loughborough / Hathern via A6 you will need to continue up to Kegworth and come into Sutton Bonington from the north, please see the diversion route below. Please allow extra time due to more traffic on the route. You can still come from the Stamford / Normanton on Soar southern route.
If you are coming from the M1 please go up the A453 to the first junction and come down through Ratcliffe and turn left along Station Road. You will avoid a very busy Kegworth.
If you are coming from the north via Kegworth or Kingston on Soar proceed as normal as this will not affect you but please allow extra time due to more traffic on the route.
If you are coming from the east via Rempstone, A46, East Leake please check the diversion route below. Please allow extra time due to more traffic on the route.
